Call for Papers: "Communicating climate science" at AGU (USA)

Please consider contributing abstracts to our AGU GEC session on communicating climate science: The goal of this session is to bring together scholars, social scientists, and journalists to discuss recent advances in the understanding of climate science, and the ways and means to communicate that science to policymakers, media, and society. We will be exploring both conventional science communication and unconventional science outreach.

The session is a prelude designed to set the stage for a Chapman conference on communicating climate change planned for spring 2013. That meeting will focus on the efficacy of scientific communication, building ways and means to improve communication of science to society.
