Dear colleague,

We draw your attention to the 10th Annual Meeting of the European Meteorological Society (EMS) and the 8th European Conference on Applied Climatology (ECAC). These meetings will take place 13-17 September 2010 in Zürich, Switzerland.
This event has a thematic focus on High resolution climatology - towards climate change services.

The scientific programme and abstract submission are now accessible at:

Deadline for abstract submission: 30 April 2010.
Deadline for abstract submission with YSTA, Kipp&Zonen Award and waiver application: 09 April 2010.

In the Abstract Submission Tool, submitting authors will be asked whether they agree that their presentation at the EMS10/ECAC8 2010 will be made publicly available at www.emetsoc.org

Information on registration, accommodation and visa requirements as well as exhibition opportunities will also become available on this conference web site. Local information is available at www.ems2010.ch

The Session programme consists of six programme groups:
- Monitoring the climate (ECAC)
- Understanding processes and climate change (ECAC)
- Climate (change) services (ECAC)
- The Atmosphere and the water cycle
- Communication and education
- Numerical weather prediction
